Kinda Nice Loft Party

Gypsy Lounge partnered with Kinda Nice, a Philadelphia-based music collective, to transform a minimal loft space into a warm, inviting environment for a 12-hour after party. The installation introduced a defined DJ booth and lounge area, shifting the space from open and industrial to immersive and experience-driven.

Project Details

Kinda Nice brought Gypsy Lounge in to enhance a raw loft environment for their extended-format after party. The space was minimal and open, lacking warmth, structure, and intentional areas for guests to gather and engage.

Gypsy Lounge designed and installed a DJ booth and lounge using a mix of existing furniture and curated inventory. The design focused on layering texture, color, and natural elements to soften the industrial feel of the space while maintaining its openness.

The lounge area was intentionally positioned to create a secondary zone for connection and rest, while the DJ booth acted as a visual and energetic anchor. Each element was placed to subtly guide flow and elevate the overall atmosphere without overbuilding the space.
